Out of all the things in the house to play with, the curtains are their favorite.

Selah: is always on the go, go, go & absolutely won't sit still. It took me about 25 tries to get this photo!

Soren: such a little ham & will happily smile for mommy anytime. My mom knitted this beanie for him & he just looks so sweet in it.

Hey there, and Happy Digital Scrapbooking Day, everyone!

If you are following along on the CT bloghop, you should have arrived here from Mary's blog. (If you get out of order, the complete list is at the bottom of this post).

At Pixels & Company we started celebrating Digital Scrapbook Day earlier this week, with lots of fun activities planned for the rest of the week, too.
As always, there are huge sales, contests and discounts going on sitewide! Actually, the ENTIRE store is 35% off until Sunday. If you've made a purchase between October 31 and November 3, you’ll be entered to win a Big Payoff, where your entire purchase will be reimbursed. Winners are picked daily :)

You can also win you your dream cart Link your favorite products by pinning them on Pinterest — one product per designer. One lucky winner will get their entire “dream cart” order!
And make sure you don't miss the designer blog hop to grab the Piccadilly kit! Hop along the blogs of designers & friends and collect the code to score the kit for free. You can start here at creashens' blog.

So without further ado, if you are following along on the Creative Team Member bloghop I want to provide you with a digital scrapbooking tip and a freebie before your next stop on the hop.

I'm sure all of you have used a template at one time or another. They can come in handy when you are stuck or just want to get a page scrapped quickly. Have you ever opened a template and decided its not your style?

There are so many ways to alter a template! I love changing little things here or there to make the template my own. Turn the template on its side, remove some elements, make the photo bigger, move the title, etc. Here is an example of a layout I have done recently that included an altered template:

I would love to see how you alter a template and make it your own. Be sure to post your layouts in the Pixels & Company gallery so we can all enjoy them!

And now, here is my portion of the CT bloghop- click here to download my quickpage! As you can see in the second photo, all you have to do is add a photo behind the quickpage and you're all set.
Your next stop on the bloghop is Jen F's blog.

Here's the complete list if you have gotten out of order:

Just a short post today as I'm working during Soren's nap, and ... ah, yes. He's waking up :)

Being home the last few days I've realized more people come to my door and knock or ring the doorbell than I would have thought. People rarely come by on Saturdays and Sundays, so I didn't think I would have to worry about anyone waking the baby while I was home during the week, but it's been 3 days and it's already happened.

I'm waiting for a package today, so I decided to whip up a quick sign during naptime, before the mail time hits.

Do you need a sign, too? I've included the files here! They are sized at 5x7. Just right click, save, and print for yourself. There's a couple different colors and an extra one, in case you have two or more littles that would be napping :)

*Please, personal use only. Don't copy or reuse my work, thanks!*

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope these are helpful :) If you liked them, please pin them and share with others!

And let me know if you use them ... send me a picture! I'd love to do a post roundup with all of your signs!:)

New Release Friday: Play Ball, Uncharted, Love You kits

Happy Friday! Today I'm bringing you several layouts that I've created this week. All of them are created with a few of the newest releases from P&Co that have been posted in the shop this morning!

First up, this amazing collection of products by Robyn Meierotto.
The collection is called Play Ball, and there are a handful of kits that you can purchase separately or all together — Leather Papers, Leather Alpha, Patterns, Elements, and Flair. Awesome! Now I don't have any photos related to baseball, but this would be perfect if you had a little athlete or sports fan in your life. I just had to improvise :) Sidenote- the red, white and blue patterns would be great for this Memorial Weekend, too!

Last week, the P&Co designers released a FREE Collab called Free Love. It's available here on the Quality DigiScrap Freebies Facebook page. All you have to do is like the page, click on the exclusive tab, and it's yours for free! Just look at how beautiful this is-
Lots of beautiful, glittery goodness. Did I mention it's free? ;)

The best part about this kit is that several of the designers have created coordinating kits. Don't you just love that? Here's one by Gennifer Bursett called Love You.
I'm loving all the sparkly, glittery things she's included to match her portion of the Free Love Collab. And more leathers ... perfect! I knew I had to use a picture of Selah and use all the pink, girly, and glittery stuff for my layout.
Next up, there's another coordinating kit from Deena Rutter called Uncharted. There are papers and elements, available as a set or you can purchase them separately. I love all the little pie chart elements and paper. I'm looking forward to using this kit again with my Project Life pages.
I was just asked to join her Creative Team a week or so ago, so this was my first layout as part of the CT! It was a challenge since I haven't worked with her style much, but I think I still came away with my personal style on my layout.
I told you the releases today were beautiful! Head on over to the P&Co shop to check them out. New Releases are always 30% off over the weekend! Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend (if you're a US reader) and gets some scrapping done :)
